Synonym Poetry


Choose any word. Write the word in capital letters. This will be the first line of the poem.
Find 5 synonyms for the word. You may use a thesaurus, or
Merriam-Webster Dictionary/Thesaurus online.
The synonyms go on the second line.
Line three has a descriptive phrase about the title word. The third line rhymes with the second.

Example:

LOVE
Attachment, adoration, warmth, devotion,
Love is so pure, right down to the core.

NOISE
Clamor, uproar, hullabaloo,
These things can really annoy you!
